Pasatiempo is nestled off Highway 17, just before you reach the Ocean Street exit and is a semi-public, 18-hole course that was designed by world-renowned golf architect Alister MacKenzie. The Pasatiempo course offers sweeping views of the Monterey Bay and has impressive facilities that include a fully stocked golf shop, driving range, chipping green, putting green, caddy services, and two restaurants. Heading south on Highway 1 to the lower area of Santa Cruz County, you’ll find Seascape Resort. This luxury resort is located on 17 miles of coastline and offers numerous amenities and activities to keep you busy. The resort also has a well-esteemed golf course, the Seascape Golf Club. Designed in 1929, this golf course has exceptionally manicured fairways, rolling hills, and also small, challenging greens. Delaveaga Golf Course is one of the top-rated public courses in California. Situated atop a hill in Santa Cruz, the thoughtfully designed course is open daily from dawn to dusk and is surrounded by natural beauty. You will also find a golf shop and restaurant here too. If disc golf is more your thing, Delaveaga has a world famous disc golf course that meanders through Oak and Pine trees and offers views of the Monterey Bay.
Boulder Creek Golf & Country Club
Surrounded by redwood trees in a park-like setting, you’ll find the Boulder Creek Golf & Country Club. The first 9-holes were designed in 1961 by renowned golf course designer, Jack Fleming, and the second set of 9-holes were later completed in 1966, leaving it as the 18-hole course we know today. The course also has a full-service pro shop, restaurant, wedding and event facilities, lodging, and golf carts.
